  • 10 Years! That is how long it has been since I started my St Osyth Village Hall Knee, Hip & Balance classes. And it sort of seems appropriate that we were back in the annex where it started, even though it is temporary whilst the main hall is having work done. Some of the ladies attending this week have been coming since the beginning but we also had new people joining us. Over the years people have come and gone for various reasons but everyone has always been welcomed and given the same top quality advice on how to exercise correctly and safely to overcome their mobility difficulties. And I hope to be able to continue doing this for many more years.

  • With Marathon season upon us get yourself booked in for a sports massage before your event to make sure nothing ruins your day.

  • Carpel Tunnel symptoms - A few times a year I will get people come to me with Carpel Tunnel syndrome type symptoms and in the vast majority of cases the symptoms are eased or disappear with the use of sports massage to the forearms. Therefore I personally believe that everyone with symptoms should try sports massage before considering surgery. 

  • Stroke/Brain injury? I am now looking to work with some new client's having helped previous client's to now be more independent.

  • Last year was a very busy year with opportunities to work with  people with Brain injuries through Accidents or stroke, with people recovering from other injuries related to RTAs and people with postural balance issues. Some of these clients have come via Case Management Companies others through referrals. And it was very rewarding to see the results these clients have achieved. 

  • Triathlon season is approaching, so it's time to get those leg and shoulder niggles sorted before they ruin your season.
